this is a free app that can you download at the apple app store to navigate your commute. >> thank you. today the ntsb joins the coast guard in investigating the collision on monday by an oil tanker in a bay bay bridge towe. we have several new developments to report. the coast guard says it warned the shape by radio it was in dangerous and the coast guard is calling it a major marine casualty because this is more than half a million in damage. here is a look from treasure island the overseas "overseas raymar" that remains anchored in san francisco bay. this is a live picture there, you can see it is lit up and, again, there will be boarding this morning, so that crews can continue to investigate. overhead, coast guard investigators were on before the tanker and they interviewed the bar pilot, guy kleess at the helm of where the accident occurred and he has passed an alcohol test, the results of a

correct with them. officials know that this is nut a permanent fix but they hope it will hold the creek until they can make permanent improvement. they are concerns about what can happen next. on christmas eve it came up way too high and it flooded the streets and damaged seven homes and caused $2.7 million worth damage. the storm caused erosion problems that have folks worried this could happen again. however, the problem is, to fix it, it is expensive and the city does nut have the money. while they figure out how to pay for a permanent fix, they have to figure out how to get the water in the banks of the creek when they know we are in the rainy season. they will try to protect everything with sandbags, live in west palo alto for abc7 fuzz. >> thank you, amy. >> and it is too wily to say if

from the carquinez bridge. >> federal investigators will look at the oil tanker crash in the bay bridge accident and the warning the bar pilot received. we were first to report the information yesterday. >> we were talking to the lieutenant of the coast guard and she said the coast guard told the bar pilot he was on the wrong course approaching the bay bridge on monday and the ship at the center, the "overseas raymar", is here in the san francisco bay between alcatraz and treasure island. the coast guard officials boarding the overseas "overseas raymar" yesterday and they conducting their investigation and the national transportation safety board conducting their investigation. the oil tanker sideswiped the base of the bay bridge tower to the west of the aisle. the coast guard has a couple of things, including fog is not a factor. too, again, they gave the bar
